We’re excited to announce that the details for DARA Field Day 2026 have been finalized! Join us for a great day of amateur radio operating in collaboration with our friends at the Dayton VA Radio Club (W8DVA).
Event Details
- Date: Saturday, June 27, 2026
- Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Setup begins: 9:00 AM
- Location: Dayton VA Center — 4100 W. 3rd St., Dayton, OH
Getting There
The site is accessible via Liscum Road off Route 35. A banner will be posted near the parking area to guide you to the operating site.

Operating Stations
This year we’ll be running two stations on-site:
- W8BI — Located in the DARA communications vehicle
- W8DVA — Located in the shelter at Iowa Ave & Vermont Ave
