Amateur of the Year

Visits DARA on October 2, 2015

Tim Duffy K3LR from DX Engineering and recipient of Hamvention’s Amateur of th  award will be speaking at the October meeting (October 2). His contributions to>Summit County is one of the most impressive and well equipped in the Midwest. His presentation should be very interesting.

Update from Japan.

We have completed our mission. This is our travel day, and will be arriving back in Dayton around Midnight Tuesday/Wednesday.

We just completed set up a few hours ago.  We have been traveling the subway/railway network, it seems all day.  A lot of walking.  Please remember that we have a 13 hour differential. I am writing this email at 7:35 pm FRIDAY.  While I am writing this, it is 6:35 am Friday morning for you in Ohio.   We have a few video clips from Friday on file.  Please click the link below and view these clips and the videos from Germany.  We will start with our live feed at 9:00AM local time  Saturday, ( that is 8:00 PM on Friday night. your time in Ohio )
