DARA will host its scheduled Laurel Test Session July 24th
Please pass to all VE team members, prospective applicants and those wanting to upgrade:
Yesterday, I received approval to schedule our test sessions in the newly remodeled B-Road Clubhouse. So on Wednesday July 24, 2013, at approximately 7:00 PM the DARA VE team will host is regularly scheduled No Cost Laurel Amateur Radio testing in the new Club house at 6619 Bellefontaine Rd, Dayton, OH 45424. If you need instructions on how to get there please contact David Crawford at the email address below.
If you are upgrading please bring the original and a copy of your license. If you are getting your first license please go to the FCC web site and obtain a FRN. It is self explanatory and does not cost a thing. The web site is:
Also, please bring a government issued picture ID, pen and pencils. If you need a calculator please bring a simple variant; nothing that cannot be programmed. We have a limited number of non programmable calculators for use during testing.
