A reminder… The monthly general membership meeting is this Friday October 5th at 7:30 Pm at the Kettering Rec Center 3900 Glengarry Drive. This month’s guest speaker is Tom Holmes N8ZM who will talk about the Thursday Night Group. This group meets… well, you guessed it, every Thursday night beginning around 6 PM and staying well into the wee hours of the morning where they discuss various Amateur Radio related topics and work on several projects both personal and as a group. If you’ve never been to the DARA Clubhouse on a Thursday night, you should pay them a visit. You’ll be amazed at the diversity of the group. There are several women who regularly participate as well. Check them out this Thursday night, then come to the meeting at the Rec Center on Friday. As always, it’s open to the public, so bring a friend and introduce them to Amateur Radio.
